Phew! Thursday and Friday’s parks are done, thanks to suggestions by Murphy and Randi. Murphy said that Columbia Park was the darkest park in the city no matter how sunny it is. And Gabriel Park was built on land that used to belong to a dairy farm called Pine Creek Dairy, owned by a Swiss immigrant named Ulrich Gabriel.
Progress is good! These last couple logos have been pretty quick ones, and I’m getting progressively quicker at them. Maybe soon I’ll be able to have some sort of social life during the week? Probably not.
So with fifteen logos I’m at the halfway point. Although not really, because I have to start putting the book together. So a little less than halfway. I’ve started sketching and looking at some other books for inspiration.
Y’all should suggest some of your favorite parks! You can do that through FACEBOOK! or through TWITTER! or even IN PERSON!
